Natural sugar beet syrup is extracted immediately after harvesting, from fresh vegetables without any additives. It is made by thickening beet pulp juice. It is used for sweetening drinks and baked goods and as an addition to dishes and desserts (e.g. pancakes, toast, ice cream, etc.). It is a lactose-free and gluten-free vegan product.
It contains no fat and no artificial preservatives. Due to its high content of minerals and water-soluble vitamins, it is recommended especially for people with anaemia and in states of fatigue, menstrual disorders or nursing mothers.
Sugar beet syrup
Beetroot syrup is a much healthier alternative for sweetening dishes and drinks than refined sugar. This is due to the different production processes.
Traditional white (refined) sugar is a highly processed product, purified of beneficial vitamins and minerals, which are retained in our syrup, making it a product with valuable nutritional values.
